Summer Musical
Conservatory

The Summer Musical Conservatory is a fun-filled, high-energy program that gives students ages 6-18 the training and experience of performing a real Broadway-style musical.  Instruction is geared to awaken individual talents and freedom of self expression, memorization, script interpretation, stage presence, and working within a group setting as they hone their “triple threat” skills.

Our 2026 production is Seussical The Musical

Based on the beloved children’s books by Dr. Seuss, this whimsical musical extravaganza blends many of the Dr. Seuss tales and characters as it celebrates friendship, community and imagination. The Cat in the Hat, acting as narrator, will guide the audience through the storyline of Horton the Elephant protecting JoJo and Whoville, while simultaneously guarding Mayzie’s abandoned egg. With music and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, this show will offer actors and audiences alike a high energy theatrical experience with a timely message.

All auditions, rehearsals and performances will be held at Meadow Brook Theatre on the campus of Oakland University. All who audition will receive a role, but enrollment is limited!
